Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of hope and gratitude as this new school year begins. Thank You for the gift of learning and the opportunities You provide for growth and discovery. As this child steps into the first day of school, we ask for Your presence to go before them and guide them throughout the day. Your Word in Joshua 1:9 reminds us, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” May they feel Your nearness and trust in Your faithful care.
Lord, we ask for Your blessing on every teacher, staff member, and classmate they will encounter today. Grant them kindness and wisdom, fostering an environment where all can learn and thrive. Help this child to be a light, reflecting Your love and compassion in their words and actions. We hold fast to Your promise in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Guide their steps and grant them clarity and confidence as they navigate new experiences.
Father, we pray for peace to replace any nervousness and for joy to fill their heart as they embrace this new chapter. Surround them with friends who uplift and encourage, and may Your Word in Philippians 4:13 strengthen them: “I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.” Thank You, Lord, for Your unchanging love and faithfulness. We entrust this day and the year ahead into Your hands, knowing You are always with us. In Jesus’ name, we pray, amen.
