Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts full of joy and gratitude on this sacred wedding day. Thank You for the gift of love that reflects Your perfect love for us. Today, as two lives are united in holy matrimony, we celebrate Your design for marriage, as Your Word says in Genesis 2:24, “That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.” May this union be a testimony of Your grace, faithfulness, and the beauty of two hearts becoming one under Your covenant.
Lord, we ask for Your presence to fill this day with peace, joy, and blessings. Guide the couple as they take their vows, and may their promises be made with sincerity and strength, founded on Your truth. Bind their hearts together with love that is patient and kind, as described in 1 Corinthians 13:4-7. Let forgiveness, humility, and understanding be the foundation of their relationship. Surround them with supportive family and friends who will encourage and uplift them as they embark on this journey together.
Father, we pray for Your blessing over their marriage, that it would be a reflection of Your love for Your church. Let their home be filled with peace, laughter, and the presence of Your Spirit. As they walk together through life, may they always seek You first and grow stronger in faith and love. Thank You for this day and for the promise of a beautiful future in You.
